There's something peaceful about writing at night—when the world is asleep and no one needs anything from you. No notifications. No "quick question." No life admin trying to kick the door down. Just a blinking cursor and the kind of silence that feels like permission. Night writing is where the slow-burn scenes happen. The soft ones. The funny ones that sneak up on me. The moments where a character says something that makes me laugh… and then immediately makes me a little sad. If you're a night person too: I see you. We're basically bats with feelings.
